The Great Sh’ma!  Deuteronomy 6:4-5

“Hear, O Israel! 
The LORD is our God,
the LORD is one!
You shall love the LORD your God
with all your heart and
with all your soul and
with all your might.”

Do you?  Do you really love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might?  Do you?  Deuteronomy 6:5

Listen!  The Shema or sh’ma is the word Listen in Hebrew!  Hear! 
“Hear, O Israel!  The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

  As followers of Christ – is the LORD your God?
  Are you making the LORD your God your #1 priority? 
OR is your attention on yourself?  on your job?  on your family? First?!!! 
  What is your #1 priority?

How does God tell us to make Him our #1 priority?
Deuteronomy 6:6 
God’s words are to be on our hearts!  Daily!  Are they?
God’s words are to be taught diligently to our children!
  We are to talk of God’s words when we sit in our homes ~
  We are to talk of God’s words when we walk our streets ~
  We are to talk of God’s words when we lie down ~
  We are to talk of God’s words when we get up ~
From the above list, we are to talk of God’s words 24/7!
Deuteronomy 6:6-7

  We are to have God’s words on our minds ~ 24/7!
  We are to have God’s words at our hand ~ 24/7!
  We are to have God’s words on our doorposts of our homes and our gates ~ 24/7!
