The LORD asked Moses for the people to contribute to the making of the furniture, the tent and all that held the Tent of Meeting together.  No money was involved, but the willingness of the people to give what they had.  They were generous!
Exodus 35:11-35

The LORD gave certain men the skills to make all which was required.  The people’s hearts were stirred and moved to give what they could to the LORD.  In fact they gave so much, that they had to be told to stop.  Exodus 36:6

I know of one woman, who works full time and makes a meal once a month for the priests of her church.  Giving God what is available to her to give in support of her church leaders.

God’s Word ~ Alive!
Do you offer God your God-given skills to serve Him
in your church?

Exodus 35:35
“He has filled them with skill to perform every work
of an engraver and  of a designer
and of an embroiderer, in blue and purple and
in scarlet material, and in fine linen,
and of a weaver, as performers of every work
and makers of designs.”

God did not ask for money, but willingness to serve Him
in a practical way in the wilderness.
