Moses was, again, on Mount Sinai for 40 days and 40 nights.  He was alone with the LORD.
  Whenever you spend time with the LORD, it will show in your attitude, in your approach to life and people.

  So it was in the life of Moses, although he didn’t know it, at first.  And probably neither will you.  Moses came down the mountainside with two other stone tablets with God’s writing on them, to replace the ones Moses had thrown down in anger.  He didn’t know that his face glowed so others would see it.  The people were afraid to come near him because his face shown.  Exodus 34:29-30

  When Moses was speaking to the people, he had his face so they could see it.  Much like the days of today, the masks we wear because of COVID-19, when they are taken away, people more easily recognize us and certainly hear us better.  When Moses finished speaking, he would cover his face.  When he went into the Tent of Meeting, he would take the veil off of his face, coming out of the tent, he covered his face again.
  We learn more about Moses’ motives in 2 Corinthians 3:7, the glory of Moses’ face was fading… and possibly Moses didn’t want the people to know at first.

  2 Corinthians 3:7 “But if the ministry of death, in letters engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was,…”

  Moses spent 40 days and 40 nights alone with the LORD, and his face revealed the glory of the LORD.  It was not Moses’ glory, but the LORD’S!
  We are to use great boldness when we speak God’s words to others.  Don’t hide behind a mask or a veil. Follower of Christ, let God’s light show through you!  Do not hide your belief.
2 Corinthians 3:12-14

  Don’t use your freedom in Christ as a covering for evil, but use your freedom and your daily meetings with Jesus as a servant of God to let Him shine through you.  1 Peter 2:16

  Follower of Christ, your God will meet you when you turn to Him, and others will know there is something different about you.

Psalm 59:10
“My God in His lovingkindness will meet me;
God will let me look triumphantly upon my foes.”
When you spend time with the LORD, it shows!
