Moses was given the pattern, the blueprint for the tabernacle and all its furnishings.
All would be for the worship and glory of the LORD.
Within the tabernacle would be two rooms, divided by a large, closely woven curtain or veil which would be made up of blues, scarlet and purple colors.  It would hang, making two rooms, separating the holy place from the holy of holies (where the Ark of the Covenant would be). Exodus 26:31-33

Only the High priest would go behind that veil into the holy of holies one time a year.
That veil would be significant in another way thousands of years later.  When Jesus the Messiah died the veil would tear in two from top to bottom – signifying that we may enter the holy of holies through the High Priest Jesus into the Lord God’s presence.     Matthew 27:51

God’s pattern is meant for that time in history and in the future (that’s us!).
In the tabernacle on the Ark of the Covenant would be placed the Mercy Seat; the table and lampstand would be on the other side of the curtain in the holy place.  Exodus 27:34-35
Even the screen into the tabernacle would be skillfully and beautifully worked.

God’s Word ~ Alive!
God’s pattern has a reason behind it and it is for His purposes.

Philippians 3:17
“Brethren, join in following my example,
and observe those who walk according to the pattern
you have in us.”

We are to live by God’s words, they are the pattern we are to follow.
You are being observed and followed by somebody…
be careful how you live following God’s words.
