Moses, his family and Aaron went to Egypt.  The LORD told Moses what to say to Pharaoh and what to expect how Pharaoh would act.
Do all the proofs I showed you – I will harden Pharaoh’s heart and he will not let people of Israel leave Egypt.
1- Moses threw his shepherd’s staff on the ground and it became a snake.

2- Moses put his hand into his tunic at chest height, and pulled his hand out, it was white with leprosy.  Moses put his hand into his tunic again, when he pulled it out, it was healthy flesh.

3- Later in Egypt, Moses took water from the Nile River pouring it on the ground, it became blood.  It didn’t look like blood, it was blood. Exodus 4:4-9

What God told Moses to say to Pharaoh: ‘Thus says the LORD, Israel is My son, My firstborn – Let My son go to serve Me – you, Pharaoh, refused to let him go, I will kill your son, your firstborn.’  God warned Pharaoh of the consequences of his actions.
Tough words!  Hard words!  God’s words!  Exodus 4:20-23

Meanwhile, Aaron reached the mountain Horeb in the wilderness, there was a glad reunion between the brothers after 40 years.  Moses filled Aaron in what God said to him and what they were to do.

When they reached Egypt, they assembled all the leaders of Israel and Moses again repeated the signs of proof, that God called him to lead the sons of Israel out of Egypt.
The people believed Aaron, what Moses told him to say, and Moses did the three proofs that showed God was involved.  The people bowed low and worshiped.

Belief resulted from the proofs and the words spoken.  First Moses believed, then Aaron believed, then the sons of Israel believed.  Pharaoh would not believe.

Progression of belief… is personal one on one, isn’t it?  Whom are you telling about God and His work in your life?

God’s Word ~ Alive!

Acts 17:11-12
“Now these were  more noble-minded
than those in Thessalonica,
for they received the word with great eagerness,
Therefore many of them believed,
along with a number of prominent Greek women and men.”
