1 Chronicles 16:1-3
David successfully completed bringing the ark of God to the tent he pitched for it in the city of David.  Then he worshiped God with burnt offerings and peace offerings.
God was at the center of worship and the primary motive of David’s worship.

The following questions which I have asked myself:
Do you do all things with worship of God in mind?
Do you do all things with God being  your primary motive?

So many times, we want to be noticed by people!  We want to receive accolades instead of giving credit to our God.

After sacrificial worship David blessed the people “in the name of the LORD.”
  Do you bless others?

Then David generously gave everyone in Israel, men and women, a loaf of bread, a portion of meat and a raisin cake.  Imagine that!  Dessert too!

Consider this  ~

You are to do all things in the name of the LORD,
for His glory!
