This genealogy in 1 Chronicles 3:10, is about Solomon.  This is important to the legal record of Joseph, husband of Mary.  Joseph was a descendant of Solomon. Matthew 1:6-16  The

  Mary the mother of Jesus was included in His genealogy in Luke.  Mary’s genealogy began with David through his son, Nathan.  Luke 1:26-38 looks back to God Himself as the Father. 

  Genealogies are important to the Messiah – He alone is qualified to sit on the throne as King over all the earth.  Revelation 19:11-16

Psalm 24:8
“Who is the King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
The LORD mighty in battle.”

Psalm 24:10
“Who is this King of glory?
The LORD of hosts,
He is the King of glory.”

Consider this ~

Is the coming King of glory, your King?
Do you kneel before Him today?
