For the “whatevers” of life – the followers of Christ are assured of ultimate victory.

This was the message in the prophecy for Gad, a son of Jacob.
(NASB) Genesis 49:19 “As for Gad, raiders shall raid him
But he will raid at their heels.”

The location of the tribe of Gad in the Promised Land, made their territory easy to be invaded by their enemies.  Jacob assured Gad that no conquest by the enemy would be final.  They would conquer their enemies.  The Gadites were great warriors and were truly brave men.

Followers of Christ, we have a victorious Savior and Redeemer, His name is Jesus.

He paid the price of our sins; He redeemed us from our sins when He died on the cross.  His is the final victory over sin, death and Satan – for us!

Let us live each day as great warriors, brave men and women… our faith is in Jesus and He is the One we follow.
