So much of our thinking focuses on “me,” “I,” “my.”  For the followers of Christ we need to re-focus our thoughts on our Savior, Jesus Christ… it really is all about Him!

His calling to those who respond to Him ~ how will you now respond to Him?

(NASB) Ephesians 1:18-21 “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe.  These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might
20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.”

What we are to Know!
Know “what is the hope of His calling” – it is not a wishful hope, but a sure hope!

Know “what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance” (that’s everyone whose faith is in Jesus!)

Know “the surpassing greatness of His power” for you in this day

What we are to Know about God’s strength!
God’s strength raised Jesus physically from the dead

God’s strength seated Jesus at His right hand in heaven

God’s strength gave Jesus all power over any power, over any name that is named – today and during the millennial reign of Christ Jesus as King

~ Take it to heart ~

It is in this strength of God in which we are to walk through our todays in 2018.

This is the hope of His calling

It is time to re-focus!
