Isaac’s life and his approach to his neighbors is an example which we would do well to copy.
Isaac didn’t live every moment of his life in a godly manner.  Neither do we.  (Genesis 26:6-11)

Isaac was a godly man and God blessed him with wealth, a family, and peace with his neighbors.

Does the Lord always bless us with great wealth?  No, many times, money is not handily available to followers of Christ.  But the Lord is!

When we, as followers of Christ, face challenges in life – how do we respond?

God tells us how to act in day to day circumstances.  Isaac lived in this way and was greatly blessed.

(NASB) Psalm 37:7-11 “Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.
8 Cease from anger and forsake wrath;
Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing.
9 For evildoers will be cut off,
But those who wait for the Lord, they will inherit the land.
10 Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more;
And you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there.
11 But the humble will inherit the land
And will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.”

~ Take it to heart ~

Rest in the Lord – wait with patience for Him.

Do not fret.

Cease from anger and forsake wrath.

Do not fret – it leads only to evildoing.

Be humble – yield yourself to the Lord… and wait.
