God is not limited, or pressured, by time – ever!

Abram was an old man, a really old man of 99 years.  His wife Sarai was 90, waaay past child bearing age.
God appeared to Abram at that time in his life.

(NASB) Genesis 17:1 “… ‘I am God Almighty;
Walk before Me and be blameless.”

God declared His completeness and His perfection… He IS God Almighty.
God commanded Abram to walk before Him with integrity.
(Genesis 17:1)

Abram’s response was to fall on his face and God talked with him.

The covenant God made with Abram contained these facts:
Abram would be the father of a multitude of nations.
Abram’s name was changed to Abraham.
He would be exceedingly fruitful and nations would come from him; kings would be among his descendants.

God made a covenant with Abraham; and with all of his descendants, forever.  The land of Canaan was given by God Almighty to Abraham and his descendants as an everlasting possession.      (Genesis 17:4-8)

Nothing, absolutely nothing, is impossible with God.

The sign of circumcision sealed the agreement between God and Abraham.

Sarai’s name was changed by God to Sarah… and she would have a son with Abraham even at 90 years of age.  She would become the mother of nations and kings would be among her descendants.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, is impossible with God.

When Abraham and Sarah were told she would have a baby within the year, they laughed!  ‘You’ve got to be kidding!’

(NASB) Genesis 17:19  “But God said, ‘No, but Sarah your wife will bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.”

God’s timing proves He alone fulfills His word – not people!

~ Take it to heart ~

God’s promises are for you.  He will fulfill His words to you, in His timing and for His purposes.

You can know that
“Nothing, absolutely nothing, is impossible with God.”
