How did the living God of the Holy Bible reveal Himself as “the God of peace?”  He did it through His only begotten Son, God’s promised Messiah.

All people are separated from God until they receive His Son as their Savior.  Whether Gentile or Jewish… all are separated from the living God until — we recognize and acknowledge our need of Jesus.

(NASB) Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

I am to acknowledge that I need Jesus.
(NASB) Romans 3:21-23 “But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

What am I to do as a follower of Christ?  What does the living God tell me?
(NASB) Philippians 4:4-7 “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men.  The Lord is near.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  (Underlining added)

~ Take it to heart ~

The living God is the God of peace ~ He is my Savior and Lord.  He gives me His peace and He guides me in the paths which please Him.

(NASB) Psalm 23:1-3 “THE LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He guides me in paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.”

The God of peace gives me His peace.
