Over 50% of marriages in the United States will end in divorce.  Over 50%!

If you are married, don’t give up!  Be faithful to your spouse, sexually, emotionally and/or morally.
God will judge unfaithfulness in marriage.  Is it a forgivable sin?  Yes, but don’t continue to sin.

(NASB) Hebrews 13:4 “Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.”

Before any of us asked Jesus to save us from our sins, before we turned to the living God as Savior…this is what we were like…
(NASB) 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?  Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.”

After being saved by faith in Jesus Christ; followers of Christ this is what we now know:
(NASB) 1 Corinthians 6:11 “Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.”

Good news!  Saved, for all eternity by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Nothing else, no works, can take anyone to heaven, only faith in the Lord Jesus!

What if… you have become a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ after you married?  What does God say to do?  Stay in your marriage after you become a believer in Jesus…

(NASB) 1 Corinthians 7:12-16 “But to the rest I say, not the Lord, that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he must not divorce her.
13 And a woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he consents to live with her, she must not send her husband away.
14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified through her believing husband; for otherwise your children are unclean, but now they are holy.
15 Yet if the unbelieving one leaves, let him leave; the brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us to peace.
16 For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband?  Or how do you know, O husband, whether your will save your wife?”

(NASB) James 5:20 “let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.”

(KJV) Proverbs 10:12 “Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.”

A Godly Marriage Is A Blessing!
