Perhaps you can identify with terrifying circumstances – because of your faith in the Lord Jesus as your Savior.  Perhaps you are not in such circumstances; please pray for those who are!

Be fearless in your confidence as you face overwhelming circumstances.
(Amplified) Hebrews 10:35 “…for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward.”

You need to be steadfastly patient and endure.  Why?  “…so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God…”
(NASB) Hebrews 10:36

God’s promise of reward will be received and enjoyed to the full…by you!
(Amplified) Hebrews 10:37 “For still a little while (a very little while), and the Coming One will come and He will not delay.”
The Lord Jesus Himself is the Coming One, what a great promise!

Remember: “…the just will live by faith” Hebrews 10:38  This verse goes on to say that if God’s righteous servant draws back and shrinks in fear…God will have no delight or pleasure in such a one.

No matter what your circumstances are…all followers of Christ are to live by faith…period.

We are not to shrink back to eternal misery…destruction.  We are to “have faith to the preserving of the soul.”  (NASB) Hebrews 10:39

Habakkuk prophesied the invasion of Israel’s enemy…and he waited with trembling and distress.  (Habakkuk 3:16)

In spite of Habakkuk’s troubling foreknowledge, he still proclaimed where his faith was firmly placed…would you join him in firmly placing your faith in the living Lord God?

(NASB) Habakkuk 3:17-18 “Though the fig tree should not blossom
And there be no fruit on the vines,
Though the yield of the olive should fail
And the fields produce no food,
Though the flock should be cut off from the fold
And there be no cattle in the stalls,
18 Yet I will exult in the Lord,
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.”

The just shall live by faith
