God understands your conflicts and sufferings.  Many followers of Christ are being made a public spectacle ~ because of following the Lord Jesus.  Enduring is hard!  It is never easy.  Be encouraged!

After the resurrected Lord Jesus ascended into heaven, people were persecuted for their faith in Him.    In the early years of Christianity men and women, boys and girls, experienced what many of you are experiencing.

For those who are not experiencing such pain and loss, pray for those who are suffering in these ways.  According to March 8, 2016 report “Open Doors USA,” 7,000 Christians were killed for their faith in 2015.  Many thousands are imprisoned or displaced from their homes, villages and cities even today.

(NASB) Hebrews 10:32-35 “But remember the former days, when, after being enlightened, you endured a great conflict of sufferings,
33 partly by being made a public spectacle through reproaches and tribulations, and partly by becoming sharers with those who were so treated.
34 For you showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and a lasting one.
35 Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.
36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.”

God knows your sufferings…
God knows your sympathy extended to those who are suffering…
God knows your great reward He has waiting for you…

Don’t throw away your confidence – hold tight to your confidence in the living, All-powerful God of the Holy Bible.

Your true safety and security is faith in Jesus; cling to Him.  In the days of desperation, even when there is public humiliation – even then He is encouraging you to endure.  In the enduring…be a witness of the living Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember: you have a better possession waiting for you…a possession which is eternal; it can never be taken from you!

Remember: don’t throw away your confident faith in Jesus – and continue to do the will of God for you…today!

(NIV) Psalm 103:6 “The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.”
