Jesus’ humility was complete – He was submissive to His Father in every way!
(NASB) Hebrews 5:7-10 “In the days of His (Jesus) flesh, He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety.
8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.
9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of salvation,
10 being designated by God as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek.”

Jesus was (and is) fully Man and fully God.  He has the body of a man, even today – in heaven.  He experienced the emotions of facing suffering and death…as a Man.
Jesus obeyed His Father…He submitted to the authority of His Father.

How reliable are you to carry out obedience to God and His word?  God expects full obedience, not what you may pick and choose.  You and I need Jesus…He fully obeyed His Father.

Are you submitting to the authority of the living God by obeying His word?  Jesus did.
It is Jesus Who enables us to live victoriously…there is nothing in ourselves that will accomplish God’s will…however, Jesus and His strength can give us victory.

You and I have access to eternal life through faith in Jesus, the submissive Son of God.

Followers of Christ…we are to continue to submit, yield ourselves to the sovereignty of God’s will and word.  Our faith is to be lived out, day by day; trusting our Savior and our Source of eternal life.
