Jesus, the Son of God, holds the office and position of High Priest.  He has earned that position by what He has done ~ He died on a cross.  He took all of your sins, all of them as if they were His sins when He suffered and died in your place.

The only unpardonable sin is to reject, refuse, ignore and deny this sacrifice made on your behalf.

God’s word tells us what Jesus has done for every person, every person.  God’s word is living, active, sharper than any two-edged sword.  God’s word divides the breath of life (the soul) and the immortal spirit of each person.  God’s word judges your every thought and the purposes of your heart – nothing is hidden from God’s sight.
(John 3:16; Hebrews 4:12-13)

(NASB) Hebrews 4:14 “Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.”

Jesus ~ High Priest:
*He is merciful and faithful (Hebrews 2:17)

*He has satisfied God’s requirement by dying for your sins (1 John 2:2)

*He is the High Priest forever. (Hebrews 6:20)

*He has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty of God in heaven.

*He entered into the holy place of heaven and appears before God for you.

*He is your Advocate.  (Hebrews 9:24)

*Your faith in Jesus is absolutely essential for your sins to be forgiven, for you to live eternally in His presence in heaven.

It is Jesus Christ to whom you are to confess your sins.
It is Jesus Christ to whom you are to receive as your Savior…there is no other person, god(s), or way into the presence of the living God of the Holy Bible.

How can anyone receive Christ as Savior and Lord?
(NASB) Romans 10:9-11 “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, ‘Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.’”

Jesus Christ is the High Priest.  He is the Son of God.  He is your Savior when you confess that He is your Lord and Master and believe that He died and was physically resurrected.  Read again the above verses of Romans 10:9-11.

Followers of Christ – you can encourage others, who do not know Jesus, with these same verses.  God’s word is supreme, it is enough and it is simple.  It is not complicated.
