The reality of God’s word is that it is living, active and sharper than any two-edged sword.  (Hebrews 4:12)

(NASB) Hebrews 4:13 “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.”

God Himself
Astounding thought – no creature is hidden from the living God.  He is All-seeing, Omniscient.
Nothing escapes His notice.  He loves you and me too much to let us get away with sin in any form.

The living God, God Himself, “sees” everything in your life – even your thoughts and motives.  He knows your intentions.  What is God “seeing” in your life this moment?

Do you cringe and want to hide your thoughts from Him?  God says you cannot do that – He is Omniscient…He sees everything.
It is this God to whom you and I are accountable.  Sobering and thought-provoking isn’t it?!!!

Consider a pre-school child.  They test the limits of their parents and teachers – are you like a pre-schooler?  Testing God’s established boundaries?  His word warns us that He is our Judge.  (Hebrews 4:12)

How are you responding to God Himself as you read/study His words to you?

What are we to do when we read/study God’s word?  We are to put His word into action through obedience.  We are to yield to Him because He is God!

God’s love and authority have your best in mind…how are you responding to The Reality of God Himself?
