What can we know about Jesus?
He was made (ranked) a little lower than the angels when He suffered death.  Then He was physically resurrected and ascended into heaven and is crowned with glory and honor.

We are sinners in need of a Savior.  It is by God’s grace (unmerited favor) that  He has given us a Savior.  Before Jesus could save us, He had to experience death for every person — on the cross.   (Hebrews 2:9)

Consider Jesus…the Son of God…He experienced physical death for you…so you could be saved.

Does this mean that everyone is saved?  I don’t believe so.  Individuals are saved by faith in Jesus and what He has done for them on the cross.  Followers of Christ live by faith…they have made that choice, they have asked Jesus to be their Savior.

(NIV) Romans 10:8-11 “…‘The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,’ that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.  11As the Scripture says, ‘Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.’”

Consider Jesus…faith in Him alone will save you from your sins, from Satan’s dominion and from death – not being in the presence of God in eternity.

Consider Jesus…He suffered death for us.  It was by God’s grace that He suffered death for you and me.  It is by God’s grace we do not need to suffer death for our sins.  Death is separation from the living God.

Consider Jesus…He took your sins on Himself, as if they were His sins and died in your place.  How can we neglect…ignore…reject…refuse to receive such a great salvation?

(NASB) Hebrews 2:3 “how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?”

Consider Jesus…
