(NIV) Hebrews 2:7-8 “You made him (man) a little lower than the angels;
you crowned him with glory and honor
8and put everything under his feet.”

Man (Adam represented all future generations) was created by God in the Garden of Eden.  God gave Adam responsibility for His creation.

(NASB) Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’”

After Adam and Eve sinned against God through disobedience to His word…God did not take back (rescind) man’s responsibility.  Man was still in charge of what God created on earth.

(NASB) Psalm 8:6-8 “You make him (man) to rule over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,
7 All sheep and oxen,
And also the beasts of the field,
8 the birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea,
Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.”

God has given man (people) responsibility for the earth and all that inhabits it.  God also gives man (people) responsibility to depend solely upon Him.  To worship Him alone.

When the living God is left out of our lives…what happens?  We can see it in our world today.  Selfishness, cruelty, murder, chaos in the streets of our cities and it is world-wide.

People point fingers of accusation against others without thought of their own actions of lawlessness, cruelty, ruining and taking the lives of individuals (murder).  All of this is sin against the living God.

When God is left out of our lives – we are self-centered, cruel and murderers.  Have you considered that your thoughts, your words and actions kill others?  Relationships and reputations are killed by our words and actions.  When God is left out…

You and I are responsible before the Creator.  We are responsible to ask His forgiveness and receive His gift of grace, the Lord Jesus as our Savior.  Salvation is a one time step of faith.  Every day, every hour, every minute we need God our Savior.

When God is left out of our lives – there will be chaos!
