The travel itinerary is given for Paul and those few men going with him to Rome.  A Roman centurion is in charge of him.  (Acts 28:12-13)

The centurion leniently dealt with Paul.  How do we know this?  Because Paul spent seven days with other believers before reaching Rome.  (Acts 28:14)

Believers in Rome heard that Paul was coming and they went to meet him.  (Acts 28:15)

How did Paul react?  He was thankful!  He was encouraged!

Are you an encourager by your words and through your actions?

God’s people – no matter how great anyone’s faith – have need to be encouraged!
How are you encouraging your pastors and priests?

God’s people are to encourage each other.  We are to have each other’s backs.
Being an encourager does not criticize or put others down.  Encouraging others is to be helpful to them.

Encourage each other and rejoice!
(NASB) 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 “For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him.
11 Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.”
