Peter was preaching to a crowd in Jerusalem and he didn’t soften his words.  They were pointed.  They also held out the promise of Jesus and His resurrection.

Peter referred back to the fathers of those people in that crowd…Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  Those three men had faith in God the Father.  That same God glorified His Servant, Jesus.  Jesus was the One who people in this crowd had delivered and disowned in the presence of Pilate, the Roman governor of Jerusalem, just a few months back.  Pilate had found Jesus “not guilty” of the charges the Jewish leaders had brought against Him.  But the Jewish crowds disowned “the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted” release.  The crowd pressured Pilate and used the threat of political Roman power against him to crucify Jesus.
(Acts 3:13-14)

The Prince of life, the Lord Jesus Christ died on a cross.  But God raised Him from the dead.  And the proof?  Peter and those believers with him witnessed the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ.

To what pressures are you succumbing?  What is causing you to disown the Lord Jesus?  Pilate yielded to political pressures.  There is the pressure of family, the pressure of work, the pressure of friends, the pressure of …you fill in the blank.

The Prince of life was raised to life from the grave by God.  Death could not and did not defeat Him.  Peter and the other apostles plus other believers saw the risen Christ Jesus, the Holy and Righteous One.

Today, you can know the risen Savior…do you?  Today, you can know that eternal life in His presence is certain and for sure.  When you receive Him as your Savior and Lord, you are given His Holy Spirit to live within you.  What a gift that God gives you and me.

Today, receive God’s Anointed One as the Prince of life and Savior.
How?  Go to the tab “Resources” at the top of this page then go to “God’s Plan of Salvation”.  It is His plan, not mine.  It is His words which you can trust to be true for you.

Today, many people ignore, reject or disown the Anointed One, the Messiah.  Please, please receive Him into your life…for it is for eternity.
