Jesus went into Jerusalem to the shouts of acclamation of the Passover crowds.
(Luke 19:37-38)
He wept over Jerusalem because it had not recognized the time of God’s visitation, Jesus, Himself!  He warned of the fall of Jerusalem.
(Luke 19:41-44)
When Jesus entered Jerusalem, He went to the temple and drove out those buying and selling animals for sacrifice.
(Luke 19:45-46)
Jesus went daily to the temple to teach all who came to Him to hear what He had to say.  And daily He had opposition from the teachers of the Law and other leaders for they were trying to kill Him.
(Luke 19:47)

(NASB) Luke 19:48 “and they could not find anything that they might do, for all the people were hanging on to every word He said.”

Where do you go daily to be taught by Jesus?  Do you take your Bible, a pencil and a notebook to record what you learn from God’s words?
Where do you go daily to listen to Jesus and to pray to Him?

What are some of the questions you can ask to aid you in this time?
1-    What is the Bible saying in this passage of Scripture (whether one verse or several)?
2-    What is the Bible saying to me?
3-    What am I going to do about what I have read?

What is hindering you and me from following Jesus, to be taught by Him?
Here is a partial list; you may have a different “reason”.
1-    Fear of what others will think/say/do toward me?
2-    Procrastination – putting off till “later” what I know I am to do to please God?
3-    Stubbornness and pride keeping me from obeying God’s words of truth?
4-    Listening to people who want to stop me from following my Jesus and His teachings?
What is hindering us from following Jesus, to be taught by Him?

How are we to silence whatever or whoever is trying to destroy our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His teachings?
Listen, hang onto every word of Jesus and then do what God’s word says to do!

~ Come; let us be taught daily by the words of God. ~
