Ten men, ten leprous men had asked Jesus to have mercy on them.  Jesus never reached out to touch these men who “stood at a distance.”  Jesus never said, ‘I will heal you.’
Jesus did say…“Go and show yourselves to the priests.”

He answered their prayer for mercy…How often do you pray for God’s mercy for yourself, for others, for your nation?

Those ten lepers left and “as they were going, they were cleansed.”  How often do you read the Bible and respond to God by obeying His words?

(NASB) Luke 17:15-16 “Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice,
16 and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him.  And he was a Samaritan.”

How often do you forget that you have prayed for God’s mercy and He answers your prayer…how often do you remember to fall on your face at His feet and thank Him?

This man, one of the ten lepers was a Samaritan…and he returned to Jesus to thank Him from the depth of his emotions…he had been healed of the dreaded disease of leprosy.

How often do you turn and thank the living God for His healing you of…?

How Often…?
