What does Jesus say about you to the angels of God?
(NASB) Luke 12:8-9 “And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will confess him also before the angels of God;
9 but he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.”

When you (and I) confess – speak out freely about the truth of our belief in Jesus Christ – then Jesus Himself will tell the truth of my belief to the vast array of the angels of God.
I cannot imagine the joy that occurred in heaven when I asked Jesus to be my Savior and Lord.

Jesus said in Luke 15:10 (NASB) “…I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

You are that important to the Lord Jesus – He tells the very angels of God about your belief in Him!  Wow!

Consider the opposite scenario:  If you deny Jesus through your words, then Jesus has but one choice: (He will not deny your right to your free will …that is your call) but He will deny you before the angels of God.
When you deny Christ Jesus, you are denying His work on the cross where He took your place of just punishment for your sins; denying Christ is refusing…yes even rejecting… Him and what He has done for you.

What are some of the truths we can know from the above verses?
*When we make a choice to believe in Christ Jesus as our Savior…He tells the angels of God.

*There is joy throughout heaven when we believe that Jesus died for us and we recognize and acknowledge our need of Jesus to save us from our sins (and to save us from God’s just wrath because of our sins).

*Jesus Christ either confesses us or denies us before the angels of God based on our choice.

*What Jesus says about you and me to the angels in heaven reveals what we say about Jesus to others on earth.
