(NASB) Colossians 3:2 “Set your minds on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.”

Re-focus…on eternal truths.
Intentionally think about…God’s words of truth.
Set your mind…on things above.

What is your “mind set” this day?

What is your motivation today?

What is “driving” you in each of your todays?

Basically you and I are either setting our mind on things above (on Christ and what He has gained for us) or we are setting our minds on lesser things.  The lesser things are what people without God hold in high esteem: power, position, wealth; all are important to them.

God’s word does not agree!  Whatever your position, or your power, or the money you have…those really are not the all-important things.
[Power, position and money are not the issue…the issue is where do you place them in your life?]

On what will you “set your mind” today?

Either your mind will be set on the Lord Jesus Christ and the things above (heaven), or your mind will be focused on “me” and worldly values.
Where will you choose to “set your mind” today?

Jesus said:
