(NASB) Luke 11:9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

Look at the action verbs: ask, seek, and knock.  Each of them is followed by a sure promise!
Ask ~ you will be given your request.
Seek ~ you will find.
Knock ~ the door will be opened to you.

What promises!  What is the requirement for these God-honoring promises to be filled?
You must ask ~ with bold persistence.
You must seek ~ with bold persistence.
You must knock ~ with bold persistence.

What are some possibilities you will gain as you boldly persist in prayer to the living God of the Holy Bible?
You will look for His answers!  As you read the Bible, read with closer intent and to seek His ways.

You will love the Lord as Your Savior and God more and more.

You will begin to trust Him for His answers (they are not always what you expect).

You will begin to “see” how He answers your prayers.  (And you will learn to know Him better.)

You will grow in your knowledge of the living God.

As you pray – asking, seeking, knocking – wait with expectancy that He hears you and will answer you in His time and in His way.
As you pray – “listen” to His words to you as you read the Holy Bible.
As you read His words, form them into prayer for yourself and for others.

Two chapters that you could use as ‘starters’ for this time of prayer: Proverbs 3 and Romans 8.

Ask!  Seek!  Knock!  The Lord is waiting to hear from you!
