Jesus rejoiced!  Jesus praised His Father in prayer.
(NASB) Luke 10:21 “At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said, ‘I praise You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants.  Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight.”

All followers of Jesus begin as fully matured believers.  I don’t think so!
All followers of Jesus begin as infants!  This I do believe.  No matter at what age you acknowledged Jesus to be your Redeemer, you have been given the right to be called a child of God (John 1:12) because you believe in the name of Jesus.

You may be a very wise person, a very intelligent person…God-given attributes which God alone gives…no matter – if you are a follower of Jesus, you began as an infant!

No matter how much or little knowledge you have for on any subject, there will always be more to learn.  Followers of Jesus are to keep their focus on Him and His words of truth…for they are God the Father’s words.

(NASB) Romans 11:33, 36 (paraphrased): ‘What depth of riches You have for all who come to You as a teachable infant!  Your wisdom and Your knowledge!  It’s Your unsearchable judgments and Your ways which are beyond our ability to discover.  You must reveal them to us.  For it is from You, it is through You, it is to You are all things.  Everything began with You; everything will be consummated through You.’

‘You begin bringing us along when we are redeemed, “born” into Your family…step by step…‘O Lord, that we would come as teachable infants!’
