Psalm 119:1-2, 89-90, 105 (a paraphrase of various verses)

Living God of the Bible, Your word declares that people are blessed, whose ways are blameless.  And there is a reason for that blessing because those people walk according to Your law, Oh Lord.

Teach me to follow You and Your decrees…help me to keep them each and every day.  I know it is not by doing good works that I am saved for all eternity.  It is my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His good works which He has done for me on the cross by which I am saved.  Because of what He has done for me, out of love and deep gratitude, I want to live each day and do good works.  Then I will be honoring You.

Your word is forever and ever…nothing will negate it or delete it, ever.  Your word stands firm in the heavens.  Your faithfulness is a continuing action and that boggles my mind.

 Thank You that Your true word is a lamp for each step I take.

Your words of truth are light on my daily path.
