As Jesus healed people and delivered people from various illnesses, death and demons…what else was happening?

Jesus gave hope and health, changing people’s lives for the better…greatly affecting their lives.
Jesus fulfilled prophecy.
Jesus answered the crucial question of John the Baptist with His actions of healing.
Jesus gave encouragement to all who were following Him and to those in the crowds which witnessed His miracles.
Jesus proved over and over, that He was the Expected One, Immanuel (God with us), the Anointed One of God.

How is Jesus proving Himself to you?  Do you go to Him with a skeptical mind and heart?  Or do you go to Him with openness and true searching for Him to answer your questions?

When John the Baptist’s followers had asked Jesus “Are You the Expected One, or do we look for someone else?”  Jesus answered with healing many and then He said to John’s followers:
(NIV) Luke 7:22-23 “…‘Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. 23Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me.”

Jesus proved Who He was with what He did.  How is Jesus proving Himself to you?

Has He answered your prayers (which are in line with His words)?

Has He given you healing (or a loved one healing) at various times in your life?

Are His words becoming more valuable to you, day by day, as you grow in knowledge of Who He really is (and not just who you want Him to be)?

Are you increasing in your faith in Jesus as the Expected One, the Anointed One of God?

Proofs have been given by Jesus during His first coming to this world…do you believe them?

Revelation “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.”

  John the Baptist had to have been greatly encouraged that Jesus was the Expected One…because only Messiah could have done all that Jesus did!
