Jesus honored the Sabbath; He attended the synagogue on the seventh day of the week.    He attended the synagogue on a regular basis.  Some of His miracles were done on different Sabbaths in the synagogue.

He was an active participant, for Scripture states He was teaching…

Jesus taught from what is known by the followers of Christ today as the Old Testament.

The New Testament was written some years after the death, resurrection and ascension of Christ Jesus into heaven, to sit at the right hand of the Father.  His work had been accomplished!

 (NASB) Exodus 20:8: “Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy.”
