Jesus returned to Galilee from the wilderness.  He had been baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist and then led by the Spirit of God into 40 days of fasting…in the wilderness.

Jesus returned “in the power of the Spirit”.
Jesus returned and began teaching in the synagogues.
Jesus returned and was an overnight phenom!
The crowds came to Him and they praised Him.

Jesus will return to this earth!
Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.
Jesus is coming again!  Jesus said so!

(NASB) Matthew 16:27 “For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels…and WILL THEN REPAY EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS.”

(NASB) 1 John 2:28 “Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming.”

Jesus will return and those verses which speak of His coming again bring a warning…He will come to judge our deeds!
We need to be thinking of our meeting Jesus…will we meet Him with confidence or with shame?

No matter what is going on today, our hope is in the Living, Resurrected Christ.
Jesus will return and when He does: all God’s people can say Hallelujah! (Praise to God!)
