(NASB) Luke 2:15-16 “When the angels had gone away from them (the shepherds) into heaven, the shepherds began saying to one another, ‘Let us go straight to Bethlehem then, and see this thing that has happened which the Lord has made known to us.
16 So they came in a hurry and found their way to Mary and Joseph, and the baby as He lay in the manger.”

The shepherds went, expecting God’s words to be verified and the message to them to be true.  And they were not disappointed!

Do you hurry to find God’s words, expecting them to be true?  And then finding you are not disappointed?!

The Lord God had given those shepherds a message (it is the same message He gives you) ~ a Savior has been born and He is lying in a manger.

Jesus Christ was that baby lying in a manger.
