Mary had been given God’s message, would she accept it?  Yes, she did.  She would be the mother of Messiah!  She hurried to her elder cousin Elizabeth who had been told she would bear a son in her old age.  As Mary greeted Elizabeth the Holy Spirit of God revealed Mary to be the mother of Messiah.  How did Elizabeth respond to Mary?

(NASB) Luke 1:42-45 “And she cried out with a loud voice and said, ‘Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!
43 ‘And how has it happened to me, that the mother of my Lord would come to me?
44 ‘For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy.
45 ‘And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord.”

Mary’s belief in God’s message to her was verified by the Holy Spirit through Elizabeth.
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37)

For Elizabeth and Mary, both of their pregnancies were an impossibility ~ but not with God.

What circumstances in your life seem impossible?  All impossible circumstances are possible with God when He is involved and intervenes.  A question I have asked myself:  will I now choose to trust God, and have His plan and purpose be my goal?  For being in His will is where the blessings are!

The first step: trust God for His will in your circumstances.
The next step: conform to God’s will and step away from your will.
