This week the followers of Christ are remembering the suffering and the sacrifice which Jesus made on the altar of the cross for us.

We are to have the same attitude of humility which Jesus exhibited.  His humility was exhibited by submission to His Father’s plan for you and me.

Jesus is God and worthy of worship.  You and I are not God, nor will we ever be God.  Only God is God…there is none other…Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus was in the beginning, even before the beginning of creation – Jesus was God.
When Jesus came as a baby in Bethlehem…He was God – Immanuel – God with us.
Jesus was God when He went to the cross and died.
Jesus was God when He was resurrected from death and the grave.
Jesus is God…today…seated at the right hand of God the Father in heaven.
Jesus will be God when He returns as King of kings for all eternity.

 

(NASB) Philippians 2:5-8 “Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,
6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,
7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.
8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”

 

Jesus was God, Jesus is God…and He is for you.

How great a salvation followers of Christ have received

from our great God, Savior and coming King.

Revelation 1:8

“‘I am the Alpha and the Omega,’ says the Lord God,

‘who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.’”

 

Followers of Christ – praise Him for He is your God!
