The Psalmist uses a tree as an illustration for those who delight in the law of the LORD and meditate on His words…all of His words…in the Old Testament and the New Testament.
(NASB) Psalm 1:3 “He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.”

A healthy tree, planted and growing beside a flowing stream of water is ever refreshed; strengthened and given nourishment on a daily basis.  For the followers of Christ…we also are to be ever refreshed, strengthened and given nourishment on a daily basis.  Delighting in God’s words, thinking about what is said – is to be like that tree.

Fruit that is healthy…is choosing the LORD and His words, using and living out what you learn will be beneficial to you and to others.

Fruit in your life will be produced…the seeds you plant this day will be taking root in your life as well as others lives…what are you planting?
Your actions and your words are seed.
