Religions of the world use many teachings which require people to do things for their ‘gods’ in order to go to heaven.
Not so for the followers of Christ.  There are not many things but one thing…and that is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the One Who saves you from your sins.

In the days of Noah, to be saved from the flood waters of God’s judgment, people had to be in the ark which Noah built according to God’s instructions.

That sounds simplistic doesn’t it?  But it is true.  God has not made it complicated to be saved from our sins.  He has made one stipulation…to recognize that you do wrong and need to be forgiven and saved from your wrongs.  That stipulation is belief in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Such a simple fact…yet pride, unbelief, defensiveness, anger, etc. keep people from receiving Jesus Christ into their life as Savior and Lord.

How can anyone be saved, for all people fall short of the glory of God.  (See Romans 3:23)

What does anyone have to do to be forgiven and welcomed by God?  If you have never asked Jesus to be your Savior the following Scripture is for you!
(NASB) Romans 10:8-13 “But what does it say?  ‘THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, in your mouth and in your heart’ – that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.’
12 For there is no distinction, between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;
13 for WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.’”

Have you taken this step of faith in the living Lord Jesus Christ?

Who do you know who needs to take this same step of faith?

(NIV) Romans 1:17  “For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’ ”
