What happened “On the very same day Noah” and his family entered the ark?
The rains began falling and “all the fountains of the great deep burst open”.  Water from the cloud-laden skies and water from the underground rivers and springs inundated planet earth.

The LORD God had warned Noah of the coming flood of judgment and Noah had followed God’s instructions when he built the ark.  (See Genesis 6:13-18)
The animals and birds came to Noah when the ark was finished…(See Genesis 7:14-16).

Our God takes care of the details in our lives when we are committed to Him and His will for us.
God took care that the animals came to Noah…Noah had been building the ark to God’s specifications and preaching to those who came to watch and perhaps deride Noah.
(See 1 Peter 3:18-20)

And the LORD God even shut Noah, his wife, sons and their wives into the ark, He shut the door to protect those inside from the flood of judgment.  When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are ‘shut’ from God’s judgment of your sins against God.  It is through Jesus Christ, the Door, that anyone can be saved.

For the follower of Christ that good news is priceless.

For the believer in Christ, faith that He died in our place and was resurrected from the dead is to be His child for eternity.

Followers of Christ rejoice, your Savior is coming for you…to take you to be with Him in heaven.

Praise to God the Father for His Son; for we are sealed by His Holy Spirit…saved by His grace and mercy.

Rejoice! Followers of Christ!

(NASB) Philippians 4:4-7 “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!”
5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men.  The Lord is near.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
