The Holy Bible is succinct (clearly expressed in a few words, concise).  It sums up Noah’s life with:
(NASB) Genesis 6:9-10 “These are the records of the generations of Noah.  Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God.
10 Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.”

Let’s examine each phrase:
1.  the record of Noah’s generations is given – the only record in the Holy Bible which goes back, back, back into the beginning.  It is found in Luke 3:23-38…and it goes back to God the Father.

2.  Noah was a righteous man – when God gives an evaluation of your life, would He declare you to be a righteous man or woman?
Righteous – Meeting the standards of what is right and just; morally right; guiltless.
Noah met the standards of God, do you?  Are you without guilt before God?

Are you a righteous person – meeting God’s standards of righteousness?  I don’t know about you, but I need Jesus…for without faith in Him to save me from my sins, I am guilty before God.  Because without Christ Jesus I cannot meet God’s standards of righteousness.

3.  Noah was blameless in his day – what a testimony of his life, when all around him there was moral depravity, corruption and violence.  (Does that picture reflect your country today?)
Are you blameless in this day and age – or have you ‘bought in’ to the moral depravity of your culture?  Have you found ‘reasons’ to sleep around or move in with your latest love?

Are you living a corrupted life style, one that is immoral, perverted or depraved?  (This is according to God’s word, not mine.)

4.  Noah walked with God.  What is your prayer?  One way to pray:  ‘O LORD, strengthen me with Your strength so I do not succumb to pressures of moral depravity, corruption or violence in these days.’
Do you intentionally and consciously walk with God each day?

Have you found favor in the eyes of God by your choices?
Saying ‘no’ to your cultures godless life-style is not easy.  Saying ‘no’ to influences and peer pressure is not easy.  But with God…walking with Him out of love for Him…He will be your strength and help.

(NIV) Psalm 28:7 “The LORD is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.”

What is the evaluation of your moral character in the eyes of God?
