In sub-tropic and tropical climates the cool of the day is in the early morning hours. “Watch” the time the LORD God walked in the garden, the time He spent with Adam and Eve:
(NASB) Genesis 3:8 “They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day…”

How do you begin your day?  Do you set aside time, at some point in your day, to listen to the voice of the Lord by reading His word, the Holy Bible?

Where do you go, and when, to ‘listen’ to God?  Some people will choose a favorite room, a chair, a park, somewhere that is quiet with no distractions…such as the ringing of your phone, etc.

What distracts you from a time of quietness with the LORD your Savior?

What questions do you ask the LORD, expecting Him to show you His answers?  Perhaps His answers will come through a sermon, a hymn, music, or another person.  His answers will agree with His word, the Holy Bible and give you peace of mind.

Who?         You spending time with the LORD God.
What?        Reading the Holy Bible and praying.
When?       Determine the best time for you.
Where?      You decide the place that will fit into your life.  (Remember, the place can vary, for God is not limited.)
Why?         Why should anyone take time to be consciously in the presence of the LORD?  Try it, and see what difference it will make in you and your day.
How?         This is individual and unique for you.  This time of quiet will be between you and the LORD God.

May your time of quiet with the LORD

become the highlight of your day.
