(NASB) Genesis 3:6 “When the woman saw that the tree (of the knowledge of good and evil) was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.”

The temptation which leads to sin can be stopped at any point –

the downward spiral of temptation always leads away from God.

At what point in the process of temptation are you in today?

To whom are you listening, who is tempting you?
To where are you looking which is leading you away from God?
Why are you desiring that which you know is in opposition to God and His word?
When have you given in to that temptation?
How are you going along with being tempted?
What are you doing, what action are you taking which is sin?

Temptation is not sin – giving in, participating, eating, ingesting the temptation, that is sin.

At what point of the process of temptation are you in today?

That process can be stopped by turning to God and His word.
