God the Creator has created you to have a relationship with Him.  He did this through the Lord Jesus Christ.  Christ is in all His followers…those who acknowledge Him and who do what He says in His word, the Holy Bible.

God does not create junk, or do substandard work.  His workmanship is done with excellence.  At the end of six days, God beheld all of His work and declared it was “very good”.  (See Genesis 1:31)

It is true that we live in a world that is ruled by Satan…we live and think as “sons of disobedience” because we have a fallen nature of sin.  (See Genesis 3:1-7)
Before Christ Jesus was my Savior, God’s word describes exactly how I was.  (See Ephesians 2:1-3)
I was under God’s wrath against my sins (and I didn’t even know it).
But God, rich in His mercy and great love for me “made us (me) alive together with Christ”.  It was by God’s grace that saved me and continues to save me still.    (See Ephesians 2:4-5)

It is God’s mercy, His grace which has raised me up with Him (the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ) to where He is at this moment – in heavenly places.  (See Ephesians 2:6)

(NASB) Ephesians 2:7-9 “so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast”

You and I are God’s workmanship, we are created in Christ Jesus for good works, and God Himself has prepared us beforehand so that we should so live (walk in them).

Have you been “created in Christ Jesus”?

If so, are you living as if you are His workmanship?
