At the end of six days, God looked, He beheld (to gaze at, to look upon) His work and found it “very good”.
(NASB) Genesis 1:31 “God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good…”

Day 1 – God separated light from darkness: Genesis 1:3-5
Day 2 – God separated the waters in the heavens: Ge 1:6-8
Day 3 – God separated waters and dry land, made vegetation/trees:     Ge 1:9-13
Day 4 – God made the sun, moon and stars, establishing time:                Ge 1:14-19
Day 5 – God created the creatures of sea and air, blessing them to multiply: Ge 1:20-23
Day 6 – God made the creatures on the earth; created the first male/female: Ge 1:24-31

All of God’s work was spoken into existence.  “Then God said…” is stated before each act of creation.
All of God’s work was assessed by God and found to be “very good”.

Before “the Fall” of Adam and Eve into sin…God proclaimed their creation as “very good”.
I am a sinner who has sinned (and sins) against God – I need a Savior from my sins – and God has provided Christ Jesus!

You and I were created to have a relationship with the Creator God!
(NASB) 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”

You and I are to live as being “created in Christ Jesus” for God’s good works.
(NASB) Ephesians 2:10 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”

Your worth is tied up, ‘bundled’ in God Himself.

Perhaps this could be your prayer as it is mine:
‘O LORD God, my Creator, would You remind me throughout this day, that I am Your workmanship created in Christ Jesus.  That You have created me for a relationship with You, the God of creation.  For what You create, You find “very good”.
In the name of Jesus, my Savior, Amen.’
