(NASB) 1 Peter 2:21-25 “For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps,
22 WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH;
23 and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;
24 and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
25 For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.”

Christ Jesus has provided salvation for all who would follow Him.  Salvation is the initial step in knowing Christ Jesus as Savior.  The next steps are to live in right standing before Him.

Christ Jesus did not revile His accusers or His tormentors.   He trusted His Father for that time of suffering during His trials, His scourging and His crucifixion.

Many Christians are accused today.  Many are suffering today for their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you are in such a position may God and His words be your strength and comfort.

(NASB) Psalm 56:3-4

“When I am afraid,

I will put my trust in You.

4 In God, whose word I praise,

In God I have put my trust;

I shall not be afraid.

What can mere man do to me?”
