The following verse is mind-boggling:

(Amplified) 2 Corinthians 5:21 “For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].”

For your sake God made His Son to be sin so that through Jesus Christ (Son of God) you might be endued with and viewed as being in the right relationship with God!

It is with awe and wonder that anyone can be made in a right relationship with the living God of the Bible.  It is not through anything you can do, or be, or think.  It is all what Christ has done on the cross.  It is there that Christ not only took your sins on Himself, He became sin!

Jesus Christ knew no sin, how abhorrent that must have been for Him – to become sin!

And He did it for you!

There is nothing in you that is right before the Holy God of the Bible.  It is only through the Son of God, His sinless Son, can anyone be made righteous.
