As a follower of Christ, I know that He is my Savior…do you?
Christ Jesus has saved all who choose to believe that He is Savior and LORD.
I know that He has saved me from my sins…do you?
I know that He has saved me from death (the absence of God’s presence throughout eternity)…do you?
I know that He has saved me from Satan’s power…do you?
I know that the Lord Jesus gave me His Holy Spirit when I asked Him to save me from my sins…do you?

The mystery of the Lord Jesus implanting His Spirit in me is beyond my understanding…but it is nevertheless true.
When I was immersed into Jesus Christ…I was immersed into His death and His resurrection…amazing but nonetheless true.

I know that I am to walk in newness of life, the life of Christ today.
I know that my life is a changed life because He has exchanged my sin-filled life for His life.
Does this mean I am without sin?  No, No, and No!
I know I need Jesus and His work on the cross every moment of life.
I know I need Jesus’ forgiveness for the sins I commit…the big ones and the smallest ones.
I know I need to confess my specific sins, asking for His forgiveness.


(NASB) 1 John 1:8-10 “If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.”

So, what am I going to do with the knowledge of the above Scriptures?
