(NASB) 1 Corinthians 13:8 “Love never fails…”

God’s love will never fail, become obsolete or come to an end.  Why?  Because God is love.

(NASB) 1 John 4:7-8 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”

Does this mean that Jesus Christ taught that everyone will go to heaven at some point?  Read the following verses carefully:

(NASB) John 3:16-21 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
17 ‘For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
18 ‘He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 ‘This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
20 ‘For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21 ‘But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”

Salvation is a choice, a personal choice – judgment for your sins will either fall on you (you will be held accountable for your sins before God); or your sins will fall on the Lord Jesus Christ (Who died for your sins and took your punishment when you receive Him as your Savior, He was held accountable for your sins).
God’s love does not fail to protect all who come to Him through faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

(NASB) 1 John 5:11-12 “And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
12 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.”

God’s love never fails, have you received His love?
