A Spirit-filled Life Prays
Salvation is wonderful and it starts with the first step of accepting Jesus as your Savior. Salvation includes faith and repentance. Salvation doesn’t stop there; we aren’t to park and not move forward. Salvation leads to a transformed life. What does your life ‘look’ like today? Can you see any changes…say…from last year?
(NASB) Romans 12:12 “…devoted to prayer”
(NIV) Romans 12:12 “…faithful in prayer.”
Faithful, devoted, being constant in prayer (Amplified Bible) is part of living a Spirit-filled life. Could you define your prayer life as being faithful to pray? Are you devoted to God and others by praying daily? Throughout your day do you think to pray, being constant in prayer?
Praying requires commitment and time. Whether you pray silently or aloud…whether your prayers are said through your writing or typing them out…they are still prayers.
Personally I prefer being alone and I voice my prayers to God. I like silence…but you may prefer music in the background.
However you pray to God, He hears you.
Praying is an important part of a Spirit-filled life…waiting on God, listening for His answers is also a part of that life.
Are you praying?
Are you listening?
Are you waiting on God?
Your life will reflect the time you spend with your Lord and Savior.
