Jesus prayed for His eleven disciples who were to give out the Good News of Messiah; the Anointed One of God. Jesus prayed for those who would believe in Him through their message.

(NASB) John 17:20 “I do not ask on behalf of these (eleven disciples) alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word”

It is through the testimony of these men that people believe today. It is the message of God through their writings which we read in the New Testament. The Holy Bible is God”™s true word”¦today. We have the life of Christ Jesus in the Gospels. The actions of the Holy Spirit are seen in the book of Acts. The letters that make up the rest of the New Testament reveal how followers of Christ are to live, what we can expect God to do in the future and our hope for eternity.

You were prayed for by the Lord Jesus if you believe in Him. Studying Scripture is of vital importance for us to live a life pleasing to God.

One friend of mine has said: “No Bible, no breakfast.” As food is important for our physical well-being, the spiritual food found in the Bible is also important for our relationship with God and our spiritual well-being.

All followers of Christ are writing their personal testimony each day in the way they live, speak and act.

What are others “˜reading”™ from your walk?

How are you living so that others may believe?
