As the beginning of 2010 approaches ““ how can anyone grow in wisdom which relates to God?

To be wise from God”™s point of view, there is the need to accept His words and put His commands within easy reach. Just as canned goods and foods used regularly are on the shelf ““ God”™s words need to be readily available.

Obedience to God”™s words:

“˜Listen”™ and then “˜do”™ what God says in the Bible.

Prayer:

Prayerfully call out to God for insight & understanding for His meaning.

Bible Study:

As a miner looks for treasures of gold and silver ““ so we search for understanding of what it is to rightly fear the Lord as the Bible is studied.

Promise of God:

To have the “˜true scoop”™, go the Source of Godly wisdom.

(NASB) Proverbs 2:6 “For the Lord gives wisdom;

From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

Godly wisdom leads into greater understanding and knowledge of God the Father through the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Whatever teachings are from God, and of God: are to be listened to and incorporated into life.

(NASB) John 16:25 “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but will tell you plainly of the Father.
